Minimalist Japanese House

,
Sample palette: This is no little-girl pink. Make it even more grown up and sophisticated by pairing it with cool grays and black. Clockwise from top left (from Yolo Colorhouse): Stone.07, Petal.03 and Petal.04, with ebony-stained wood.

The fascia of the house is an imposing box like structure, punctured by large windows and glazed doors to allow bags of light into the modernistic home.

Beyond the entryway a simple hallway unfolds, decorated in gallery white and pinewood, which is seen throughout the rest of the home.

The living room enjoys views out over a wooden garden deck, perfect for barbequing on, to a carpet of lawn beyond.

At the center of the house the architects have designed an atrium where natural illumination floods an open living area that is furnished in neutral tones and limited decorative accessories. The lounge and dining zones are overlooked by a large mezzanine landing to capitalize on the generous height of the dual level room.

The kitchen storage shelves and appliances can be hidden away behind frosted glass doors, to maintain the calm and uncluttered atmosphere of the rest of the interior once the cooking is done.

The bedroom schemes continue in the same uncomplicated fashion as the reception areas, evoking a cool and relaxing feel.

Out on the mezzanine the home office area is combined with an open plan closet; the two areas are divided by stepped modern shelving to define the zones without obscuring the flow between the two spaces.

Cool Bedroom Color : Hot Pink Made

,
Back we learn from Designer Jennifer Ott, hot pink, gray, and black make a cool combination, striking for retro bedroom color. Apparently pink is not just for a little girl who likes when her bedroom was decorated in pink. Pink makes warm when combined with cool colors.

Colourful Kids Bathroom Design by Lauren Designer

,
Looking at the design of the kids bathroom like a rainbow, great fun for children. Like dream bathroom design for kids. The rounded shapes, bold colours and influences from the animal and plant kingdoms give the florakids bathroom a feeling of fantasy and playfulness, which creates an environment perfect for kids to learn about hygiene. Adults also feel happy with this colorful kids bathroom. This bathroom designer Lauren is indeed a special for kids. Here are photos of dreamy colourful kids bathroom design by Lauren designer.

Florakids from LAUFEN is imaginative, colourful and playful – a bathroom that children are sure to enjoy. The centrepiece of florakids is a washstand with a basin in the shape of a flower blossom, available in white, red or green. In kindergartens, several washbasins can be lined up in a series to create plenty of space to put things. To complement the washbasin, you can add ceramic shelves, shaped like little clouds in matching colours. Mirrors are available in red mirror flower, or green mirror caterpillar designs and consist of separate mirror elements that can be lined up in series.

The florakids WCs, designed especially for children, have no sharp edges or corners. WC seats, designed perfectly for children, are available in white, red or green. All seats have a mini back support and are small in diameter, so children are not afraid of falling in. The ergonomic seat also lets kids who are potty training grasp onto the ears on the left and right of the seat. Thanks to the innovative Ecototal cartridge, a handy single-lever mixer for the washbasin is easy-to-use, hygienic, saves water and reduces the risk of scalding. The powder-coated lever in red or green makes it easy for children’s hands to grasp and operate the washbasin.
